Katrin has been the Director of Tallinn Language Centre (IH Tallinn) since 2000 and has been teaching English since 1993. She studied at a specialised language school where subjects were taught in both Estonian and English, and later graduated from the University of Tartu.

Katrin holds the International House Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (IH CTEFLA) and is currently the only Estonian to have earned the prestigious Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification.

Katrin’s teaching experience also extends beyond Estonia - her international teaching experience includes work at International House schools in Cairo (Egypt), Kraków (Poland), and Vilnius (Lithuania).

Since 2001, Katrin has been actively involved in a range of international language teaching projects, contributing to the development of best practices in language education.
