Brittney was born and raised in Michigan, USA. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Communication from the University of Michigan–Flint in 2014 and earned her CELTA certification (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English) in 2021.

Before relocating to Estonia in 2023, she taught English to both young learners and adults in Germany for four years. 

She is currently completing her MFA in Creative Writing, with a focus on poetry, through Cedar Crest College’s (Cedar Crest College, Pennsylvania, USA) Pan-European program.

In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, reading, traveling, painting, and crocheting.
